Here I stand, here I do what I must

What I'm searching for, what my heart beats for

I'm not sure my motives are clearly defined
What I want, what I need, what I do to survive
Still I sweat and cuss, breathing in the dust

What I dream, I dream from that world I create
What I do, I do with my share of mistakes
Still I hesitate, stop and go, then wait
Trapped by desire and fear as they appear here

Where I go, I go by the side of the road
What I see is more than I've ever been told
Looking back at fate and how it relates
