How has music influenced your life?
Music and theater has always been an impact on my life. Ever since joining the school chorus in 2nd grade, I could never imagine choosing a career path that didn't involve the arts. All throughout middle school, high school, and college, I have been able to take my love of music and the stage and cultivate and shape my favorite hobby into a career. Without the training of my incredible directors, Kathy Hawk, Kris Tranter, and Dr. Sarah Mantel, I would never have the confidence and skill that I've been able to develop over the course of my schooling. I fully believe that the time spent learning and developing my craft throughout my schooling were crucial in giving me what I need to be successful in the field. I am very proud to be able to say that as long as I'm singing on stage for a living, I'll never work a day in my life. I thank God everyday that I get to experience all of the amazing opportunities that music and theater have presented to me over the years and am confident that this is only the beginning.
