Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can parents go to Virginia and watch their children perform?
A. Yes, the performances are open to parents. See the Itinerary for locations. Note: The performances are not in the parks. They are at nearby high schools and are adjudications.
Q. Can students leave the group to go with parents at hotels or other events?
A. No, not without a predetermined agreement among administrators, directors, and parents.
Q. What if I can't make the Mandatory Meeting on May 12th at 7:30 in BHS Auditorium?
A. PLEASE make every effort possible to be there! No student will be allowed to go on the trip without a meeting. For emergencies, once-in-a-lifetime and unchangeable events, we will schedule a one-on-one meeting with students and parents. Please contact us right away if there are schedule conflicts. A Google Meet link will be provided for students and parent who can't make the in-person meeting
Q. I have allergies/dietary restrictions. What should I do?
A. The Nurse who will be with us on the trip will have everyone's medical information. For the park meals, everyone will be given either a meal ticket or cash to purchase food. Your choices will be limited to what is offered at each site. You should plan on bringing alternate snack options. Here is a link to Busch Gardens' menu options: https://buschgardens.com/williamsburg/dining/. For Allergies, we will be mandating that no one brings nuts or peanut butter.
