Joe Moeller, BHS class of 2003 Indiana University of Pennsylvania- Bachelor of Arts in Music, Vocal Concentration and Minor in Theater Employed since 2010 as a Lead Vocalist for Royal Caribbean Cruises Accomplishments: Traveled all over the world performing on 3 different ships in the fleet over 6 contracts. Traveled to Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, the Baltics, South America, and just finished my third summer in the Mediterranean doing cruises to Italy, Croatia, Turkey, and the Greek Isles. Ships included Rhapsody of the Seas, Splendour of the Seas, and Legend of the Seas and will be headed to the Empress of the Seas in the spring to do cruises to Cuba. How has music influenced your life? Music and theater has always been an impact on my life. Ever since joining the school chorus in 2nd grade, I could never imagine choosing a career path that didn't involve the arts. All throughout middle school, high school, and college, I have been able to take my love of music and the stage and cultivate and shape my favorite hobby into a career. Without the training of my incredible directors, Kathy Hawk, Kris Tranter, and Dr. Sarah Mantel, I would never have the confidence and skill that I've been able to develop over the course of my schooling. I fully believe that the time spent learning and developing my craft throughout my schooling were crucial in giving me what I need to be successful in the field. I am very proud to be able to say that as long as I'm singing on stage for a living, I'll never work a day in my life. I thank God everyday that I get to experience all of the amazing opportunities that music and theater have presented to me over the years and am confident that this is only the beginning.
